Customer Reviews
I've been going to Texan Cardiovasular Institute since I had my Pacemaker installed for SSS 6 years ago. I picked up mountain biking 6 months later and have completed 3 endurance races since. Dr Nasur has been very supportive and the staff has been amazing. Dr Nasur actually has a personality. ;) To make sure I can continue my mountain biking adventures safely, I've had a Stress Test, Echocardiogram and on every appointment they do an EKG and an exam. I recently had my first episode of Atrial Tachycardia that actually effected me and I am now taking a low dose (12.5 mg) daily of Metoprolol. Dr Nasur wanted to know in detail how I felt on my first couple of rides after and he explained how the supression should work. Everything is working out, I'm still riding and am looking forward to t
Front office staff and supervisor suck! Front office staff are inefficient and often times clueless even when I ask a single question like asking for a doctor's excuse. The front office is incompetent and unapologetic when they constantly mess up. At least 2x per year they fail to get an approved authorization from the VA for approval of continuance of care in time for my next scheduled appointment due to them not submitting the request in a timely manner. This is a heart doctor and all appointments are important. Usually, it is because they submitted the request 1-3 business days before my upcoming appointment. The reason I still give a high rating despite this is because thw doctors I have seen there are great. Dr. Nasur and Dr. Taha. I only stay at the office because of the doctors an
Helpful, very friendly staff and medical assistants but the cardiologists doctors seem to lag behind a bit. I haven't been better with my condition, I've told these doctors that info at every visit and not much is being done. Appointments feel like DRs want you out of their hair ASAP, they don't tell you in much depth about your condition and I feel dismissed. Not angry, just disappointed as I hoped for a more thorough approach to my care but overall a decent place.
Waiting room is always crowded. You are never seen on your appointed time. It is always 30 minutes or more past the time. Waiting room is not very wheelchair friendly.
Absolutely abysmal care. Ive seen 5 cardiologists in my life and ive never had one be so wrong, rude, and egotistical.
