Dr. Terry is awesome! He is a very caring, considerate and thorough physician. He treated my mother with respect and was always willing to listen to her. He took the time to "visit" with her and she never felt like she was just a "moneymaker". She truly loved going to his office for her appointments. His PA, Jennifer is a sweetheart. They reviewed her medications with us at every visit and inquired about how she had been doing since our last visit. Thank you for opening a satelite office in Zachary, so much easier to bring Momma to Zachary. Saved me time off of work and her the "sitting" time for trips into Baton Rouge. Terry has been my cardiologist since my first heart attack in August of 1994. With multiple angioplasties, 5 bypasses surgery in 2004 and several stints, Terry and staff have always taken the greatest care for me. I have recommended him to several family members and friends and they all receive the same care and compassion as I have always received. Dr. Zellmer is an excellent Cardiologist, knowledgeable, kind, understanding and trustworthy. Dr. Zellmer is also a good compassionate person. He listens intently and never rushes to judgement about what you need before having every fact. His approach is wholly scientific yet he will always ensure you have left an appointment knowing he is there to help you find answers that will enhance or make your life better. When Dr. Zellmer retires, Baton Rouge will lose one of its best doctors. Establish yourself as a patient before you find out you need a Cardiologist. I agree with the others how the general BR Cardiology staff leaves much to be desired, but the quality of Dr. Zellmer's immediate staff, especially his PA go far beyond the need for a pleasant receptionist.

Three generations of our family use Dr. Zelmer. Always very well satisfied with his treatment! Will take time to explain and discuss issues and seems to care about his patients.

My visit with Dr. Zellmer was a good experience. He ask all the right questions and had concerns about my health. Great bedside manners.
