Terri Nguyen will not BS you. I was set to get 4 extractions as a recommendation from their hygienist. As part of their process for due diligence, I somehow became the 1% where they recommended I did not proceed with the extractions given my specific circumstances. Their explanation was quite practical. I'm not so sure if this would have been the same outcome elsewhere. And I told them I was moving soon. It would make for a great 60 minutes episode. Horrific! I have Dental coverage, which Dr. Nguyen's office verified. They were well aware of what services were covered under my plan, yet they took what I thought were basic dental x-rays, and billed my insurance for Oral/Facial photographic images, in addition to basic x-rays, which they knew were not covered under my plan. They never explained that the Oral/Facial photographic images, were not covered under my plan. Had I not had this experience with the billing issue of non-covered services, I still would never return to Canyon Country Dental. My experience with Dr. Nguyen was awful, from the moment he walked in the room, for a simple consultation. Dr. Nguyen was unprofessional, immature and unapproachable. BEWARE...Dr. Nguyen and her staff could jeopardize your health, like they did mine, by taking 20 or 30 unnecessary xrays. I trusted them and I wish I did not, for now I'm worried about all the radiation I was exposed to by Dr. Nguyen. I went for a consolation for braces, nothing more. When I get there Dr. Nguyen tells me they need xrays??? I go to the xray area and the tech had no clue what she was doing, and ended up taking 25 or more xrays of my teeth. Then Dr. Nguyen starts giving me check up , which I was not there for. I stopped her and said where is the orthodontist, and her reply, they are not here today. WHY DID YOU HAVE ME COME IN THEN. (So she could scam me and my insurance nothing more.) If you value your health I would not go near this place and whatever you do DO NOT give the

The office staff was very unprofessional and very rude. The doctor did not do a good cleaning job. She only took 2 or 3 minutes for cleaning and charged my insurance company to get money.
