Terrace Fleming Island

Far too many complaints make a proper example. Waiting 3.75 hours to be transferred from chair to bed! Alert button to nurses station does NOT work at least twice a day. That's when I get myself out of bed and walk up to nurse for help. 3 hour wait on pain meds 1 week, 1 correct meal tray! You get the idea! I am safer and would achieve therapy at home for myself better than once this week here. Yet, I am unable to leave 😡

I have visited a resident there several times. I have gone in mornings and afternoons and once at lunch. When I have needed information and have contacted someone on staff that person has been helpful. However, most times I have needed help, it has been difficult to find someone or to get their attention. I have often found no one manning the sign-in desk or the desk area behind it. I have waited, then gone to find someone by looking in the halls. I have twice been told the person didn't work on that hall and I would have to find someone else. I have also run into staff at those help desks in conversation with each other, and waited, then had to interrupt even when I have been noticed. They were not talking shop, but private matters.
