Dr. Habacker was fabulous! She drew out my situation, and explained if I followed her instructions, my pierced joint capsule may scar over, eliminating the need for surgery, if I am lucky. I was very impressed by her knowledge and explanation.

So very happy that I was referred to Dr Theresa Habacher for a problem with my hand. Must say, she is an asset to the medical industry. Arrived at her office w/ a locked finger which caused much pain. I left w/ total relief after a painless procedure. She also has a great personality. Would highly recommend her.

While she was very busy the Dr was less then warm although professional in manner I would choose to see someone else in the future

Dr Teresa Habacker and her assistant are indeed exceptional. I have been treated by Dr. Habacker before with excellent results and would recommend her with out hesitation. Supporting staff nurses and front desk also very good. However, the patient waiting area is a problem but could be easily be corrected. In short the TV in the reception area is left on the entire time with the volume set at a level which is so extremely loud, uncomfortable and annoying. When asked if it could be lowered the answer was "NO" as Stoney Brook management requires it to remain on and at an insane volume "to ensure patients in the waiting area can not hear other patients speaking to reception to ensure HIPAA compliance". I had a 1:30 appointment on 7/7. It took 1 1/2 hours to get there due to high volume traffic and I was on time. After waiting in the back room 45 minutes, Jackie came in to “ask a few questions”and said doctor would be a few minutes. After waiting another 45 minutes I went out to see what was going on and was finally told the doctor wasn’t there and I could see a PA if I wanted. The PA, Tabitha, was so frazzled, she said if I needed a shot she couldn’t do it and I needed the doctor. I said I’m leaving and never coming back. Staff said they didn’t know anything because the doctor was at the hospital. Incompetent! I walked out and said I will never return. I left the office at 3 and at 4 while still driving home, they called to ask if I wanted to go back and I said NO. First visit with t
