We had our first visit here today for both of our children and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience! After previously being with another dental office where we didn’t feel fully heard or comfortable with some of the treatment recommendations for our son, today was such a refreshing and reassuring experience from start to finish! From the moment we walked in, the entire staff was kind, welcoming, and incredibly communicative. The front desk team was friendly, helpful, and very straightforward when explaining our treatment plan and financing options, which we really appreciated. The hygienist who cleaned our daughter’s teeth was absolutely amazing! She was patient, gentle, and so wonderful with her — making the whole experience feel fun, calm, and comfortable. :) She t

I am so happy and relieved to find Tennessee Family Dental Care! I was impressed with their current technology, professional excellence and insight—but most of all, everyone’s friendliness, respectfulness and compassion. It was easy to trust Dr V and her staff. Everyone took the time to understand and address my questions and concerns. McKenna, my dental Hygenist, was very thorough and talked me through every detail of my cleaning and xrays. It was a joy to meet Dr V and to make a plan together concerning my health and smile. I made an appointment for my daughter with your office about a month ago. We arrived on time yesterday and ready for our appointment. Nobody told me anything about having to pay upfront for services. With that being said I uploaded my insurance information before the appointment. I contacted my work about my HSA and didn’t hear back from them until this morning. Your office manager was rude, annoyed and impatient. She was not friendly, she didn’t smile a single time not at all the entire time we were there. She demanded I pay $250 right then before they would even take my daughter back. It was humiliating and unprofessional. She tried to have me FINANCE a $250 copay. This dental office is amazing, and I’ve been to “patient-centric” dental offices. They are very kind, and are genuinely friendly and caring. My full name can be intimidating to people outside of my culture, but the main four providers and staff I interact with have all taken the time to learn how to pronounce it correctly. They’re just really nice people who are great at their jobs. And it doesn’t feel like they’re putting on an act. I’m really grateful to have stumbled across them. Huge shoutout to Malina, Ashlyn, and Dr. Vurugonder. They’re an amazing team that have made dealing with my dental issues way less stressful and traumatic.

I live everyday wondering if my tooth fillings are going to pop out. One chipped went back they said it was nothing. 2 months later it popped out. Went back got it replaced. Now another one they did is clicking in my mouth. I can put my nail under every filling they've given me. If you value your teeth dont go they will ruin you. Im convinced that these reviews were paid for because I think these people have actually ruined my health and have caused me more trouble than what it was worth. Sure they were kind. But kindness only gets you so far if you dont have the professionalism to back it up. And if more of my fillings fall out I am getting an opinion from another dentist Maybe it was personal.
