Tenafly Pediatrics

Since my daughter was born in 2019, we have always been with Tenafly Pediatrics. Over the years we have been to several of their locations in Bergen Country, but this was the first time visiting the Teaneck one for wellness check up. I made the appointment a month prior over phone. Upon arrival checked-in at front desk, then had to wait about 10 minutes. Waiting area is super clean and comfortable. They separated the sick visit waiting area from wellness area. There’s a fish tank that all kids love. The patient room was same as other locations, beautiful colors with different cartoon character stickers on the wall. We spent about 10-15 minutes for the vitals and health check up. The doctor and all the staff members were friendly and helpful.

I’ve been bringing my children to this pediatric office for more than 21 years, and the level of care has been consistently outstanding. The doctors are knowledgeable, attentive, and always take the time to explain things thoroughly. The staff is professional, friendly, and organized, making every visit smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to find a medical team that combines such expertise with genuine compassion—this office truly sets the standard for pediatric care.

I had a very disappointing experience with this with the receptionist at the front desk named Rose. When I called to ask a question, the first thing she asked was whether I had insurance. I said yes, and my dad was on speaker with me. She immediately told me I didn’t have insurance, even though I was trying to explain that I do have insurance but that it recently changed. Instead of listening, she kept interrupting and telling us to call another number, repeating “OK, OK, call us at this number” with a very dismissive and rude tone. She gave both me and my dad a really hard time, which was especially upsetting since I’m the mom of the patient and my dad was helping me communicate with her as I had my son with him sick. Dr. Joshua Menasha is fantastic. Wonderful with children, so knowledgeable and patient!! We love him. It is so easy to schedule appointments at this office as well.
