Dr. Schaumberger is my absolute favorite; he is very respectful and takes the time to explain everything clearly without ever making you feel rushed. Dr Schaumberger is an excellent physician. I always appreciated his calm demeanor and impeccable timeliness. Recently, we were faced with a very stressful situation pertaining to the health of our infant. Dr Schaumberger shined. He helped us navigate the situation from beginning to end. Disappointing care and rigid, transactional approach We’ve had multiple negative experiences here, and together they show a real lack of judgment, flexibility, and family-centered care. 1) Missed diagnosis with serious consequences Last year, my daughter was seen twice and strep throat was missed both times. Her condition worsened to the point where we had no choice but to go to the ER, resulting in over $5,000 in hospital bills due to extensive testing that could have been avoided. A pediatric practice’s job is to catch common illnesses early and keep kids out of the hospital. That failed here. To make matters worse, the billing and payment conversations afterward felt dismissive and overly transactional, with little understanding or accountability given what happened. 2) Zero flexibi

My son is so comfortable with the care that he receives from so many of the doctors in the practice. Of course he has his favorite Dr. who he prefers. This Dr. is great with him. This practice is the best.

My daughters have been patients at Tenafly Pediatrics since birth, and we have always appreciated the outstanding care and professionalism of the staff.
