I cannot recommend Tempo and Amy highly enough. Amy is an exceptionally skilled, knowledgeable, and caring physical therapist—easily the best I’ve ever worked with and one of my favorite healthcare providers overall. She combines deep expertise with warmth, energy, and a great sense of humor, making every session both productive and enjoyable. For me and my shoulder recovery, Amy has found the perfect balance between pushing me toward my goals and knowing when to ease up. That balance comes from her years of experience as both a PT and an accomplished athlete, her genuine ability to listen, and her remarkable intuition. She provides clear, well-structured exercises and stretches for home practice and refreshes them regularly to keep things engaging (and to fend off the usual PT monotony)

Qualified, comforting, and truly passionate about her craft, Amy has made Tempo PT a sanctuary for athletes looking to get back in the game. While making it toward the end of an intensive marathon training program, I tweaked my knee just over a week before race day. Amy was willing to get me in on short notice to take a look and provide a professional opinion. After a couple visits with some stretches and dry needling, I had the ability and confidence to race. Not only was Amy able to make my knee feel better, but she offered valuable guidance on how to prepare mentally for race day as an experienced runner herself. Highly recommend Tempo PT, thanks Amy!

Dr. Amy Devaney is simply the best. I first saw her while she was still at MGH sports clinic. An orthopedist had not yet determined I would need bilateral knee replacements. But Amy assured me that I would walk again. Within a year I did have both knees surgeries. Amy pushed and cajoled me through months of physical therapy. Thank goodness needs for Amy. As a result I can walk , bend, climb and descend stairs, etc. with no discomfort. It is now 13 years since Amy started me in sit to stands, clams, etc. she also taught he how to do an exercise outside even on the coldest day. Now I see her for monthly “ tune ups” . I walk about 1 1/2 miles 3-5 x per week. I have specific balance exercises . But I am beyond 80 years old, I walk unaided, and can function. Independently. Thank you Amy !

Amy at Tempo PT is extremely knowledgeable and professional. The second I had a running injury, I knew exactly who to call. Amy can help you with any injury you may have; running related or not! Amy is the BEST PT around! Not only is she extremely knowledgeable, and passionate in what she does but she is so comforting and encouraging. The first time I stepped foot in her clinic I immediately felt at ease and after talking with Amy after our first session I felt confident that she would be able to help me with my neck pain. I saw Amy before I had an MRI done and the MRI only confirmed what Amy had figured out on her own which ended up being a herniated disc in my neck.
