Temple VA - Domiciliary

4 years and 10 months ago I came here and it changed my life! Completely different man, and life has been great! It's all about what you make, but it can definitely be a healing time! Especially if you're in time with God and your inner workings. Crazy how I get my life in order then covid, and the end of the world starts 🤣🤣🤣

Another failure of a facility. Exceptionally rudimentary programs, seemingly designed for individuals that never had the capacity for basic adulting. Entered for service-connected mental health treatment and had the hack of a case manager I was assigned to tell me she was convinced I was faking because I had a positive outlook on treatment. They gave this LMHSW, that said I was lying about being suicidal, an award when she retired. The VA in a nutshell.

Went many yrs ago& received wonderful treatment & rehab. Eventually even got a job working for Temple VA hospital full time. Many programs available for veterans in need.

Graduated on December 29, 2024. Currently 90 days clean and sober. Program changed my life.
