Temple Neurology

I don't know why the reviews are so bad for Temple Neurology. I was a bit skeptical when reading them but today had a very positive experience at the Neurology center and at the Hospital in general from the moment I walked in the doors. Everyone in the hospital was kind and asking my mom and I if we needed help finding the office. Once at Temple Neurology we were met with a very friendly front desk person. We were called into our appointment on time. There was no waiting in the room. All contacts were extremely warm and friendly and attentive. The provider was Amanda Desenna CRNP and she was patient, thorough, and just a sweet person. A team member who was training was also present and she was also kind. Very poor communication, and no response to messages. I had an appointment scheduled 3 months in advance, which the office changed to another date without asking if it worked for me. I've been trying for 3 weeks to reschedule and keep having to leave a message, but no one gets back to me. I finally reached someone today and they said they couldn't reschedule my appointment, they have to leave a message for someone else. Incredibly frustrating all around and I still can't get an appointment!

Unprofessional and rude. My mom took off work for her 9am appointment that took two months to be scheduled. She got there and the lady at the desk said she didn't have a referral and asked to her make the calls to get that fixed. Usually at other places they would do it for her. This wasn't the main issue though. After an hour of phone calls, the referral was finally confirmed. However my mom was told that the doctor was not in today because he was sick. They told her they left her a voicemail at 8:55am when her appointment was 9am! They told her they'll call her back the following day to reschedule but of course they didn't. Don't waste your time at this place.

Dr Jacobson and her staff arr amazing. Her and Wilma work their butts off for me. They may be hard to get hold of in general but when I'm in bad shape they take care of me. I truly believe that Dr Jacobson is just as frustrated as I am that I am not under control.

Dr Jacobson is my dr she’s very nice & takes her time … it’s been almost 2 months trying to schedule a appointment for my Botox & trying to get a pre authorization number for my mri and I still haven’t heard anything back yet ! I’ve called multiple times trying to get a app but the lady at the desk just says I’ll write a message to the doc …. So now I’m late getting the Botox for my migraines and have no meds to take to stop them! I’m trying to find a new doc as I write this! I think they aren’t getting back to me because I turned down the migraine study !
