Taylor Express Care

I'm a retired nurse and saw Nurse Practitioner Kyle Kaufman, at Taylor Regional Express Care, for an ear infection. I have a LIFELONG history of ear problems. I had to CONVINCE him that the fact that I had PAIN, DRAINAGE, LOSS OF HEARING and a STOPPED UP feeling in my ear, as well as having used drops prescribed by an ENT, that were NOT HELPING,that my ear was infected. He said I shouldn't be using the PRESCRIBED drops because he didn't THINK the steroid in the drops was supposed to be used when there is infection. After telling me that my ear looked "gnarly" he tried to tell me that it's normal to have fluid in the inner ear as a general rule (it's NOT!!) and it's not an infection if the drainage is clear (also NOT true)!
