Tarzana Health and Rehabilitation Center

My mom is in there right now. At first i was hesitant because of the reviews, but I really had no choice for her and her treatment that she needed to continue. She then told me it was great there she had no problem with the staff which made me really happy. One of the social workers that is there called me to set a phone appointment with me and my mom to discuss her case, never called or showed up and never respond to my emails or voicemails… that was very frustrating. I’ve talked to a few girls in the front, they are very very rude. My mom says that some of the staff is great like her physical therapist Andrew she loves and thank you Andrew for taking good care of her. However a lot of the staff isn’t very helpful and some nights she’s in more pain than other nights and she can’t sleep be

This place endangers its patients. Broken alert buttons. Inattentive staff. Terrible food. Broken furniture. No phone number to call off hours if your mom is being neglected lying in her urine. Don’t send elderly people here if you can avoid it.

This is a very friendly place. Everyone takes care of me. They make my appointment for me and they make sure I get there and return safely. The food is delicious. Case manager ladies always answer my question. All the workers are always making sure I'm healthy and happy. I like it here. The physical therapy here is fun and the therapists are my friends. All my medical needs are being taken care of on a daily basis.

I recommend this facility to anyone searching for a nursing home. The staff and nurses are very professional. I thank you all for the care given to me while I was recovering from my surgery. Best wishes!

It's about as good as you can expect in such a facility. We used their services for over 2 years . Very caring nursing staff as well as good food service for daily meals (not a given for an institutional facility) Their care nurses are so friendly, their medicine nurses are so competent. They have a nutritionist looking over the food and nutrition physical therapist on site . They provide activities such bingo, hand crafts and music and formal dinners, and court yard picnics on special occasion. I hope you won't need their services but if you happened to need it is good to know they are available for your loved one. Often times I wished we had access to them during covid outbreak for my mom, but it wasn't meant to be. Remember, it is not paradise, but if you have fare and reasonable expe
