Tar Heel Drug

After multiple frustrating experiences at Walgreens right across the street I went across the street to Tar Heel and not only did they have the medication that Walgreens did not have but they had me filled in five minutes! They were very knowledgeable. The waiting area for the prescriptions is lovely, full of decor for your home or your yard…. gift ideas, I didn’t even go to the other whole side of the store! Because my script was done so quickly I’m so thankful for the staff at Tar Heel drug for providing me. Such an amazing service in such a short period of time. Thank you for your care!

Went to CVS & after Covid they updated the automatic recording. If you want to check on a new rx you need the rx #. So then you ask customer service & get "leave a message" i switched to Tar Heel Drug. I have no problems with them. Friendly & quick. At times they do not have a rx in stock but I get it the next day. They call me when it is really ready. Love the staff & the service

I really prefer supporting local businesses and will continue to do so but they are not what I would choose otherwise. They are slow to fill prescriptions. If you want something the same day you probably could get it if you ask. Most of the staff are not rude but just kind of there.

I ditched Walgreens last year and won't look back. My prescriptions are always accurate and timely at Tar Heel Drug. The customer service is friendly and fast. I am very pleased with this pharmacy, and we use them for all our families' prescription needs.

All of the staff are very polite and friendly. They will always answer your questions with exceptional expert advice on your situation. Providing that old timey home town feeling that other pharmacies lack. They are the best. Thank you Tarheel
