I am pasting my review of this office from my yelp review last year. I saw them over year ago and still have an unfavorable memory from it. Bottom line: rude staff, long waits, and unprofessional ethics. July 2017: I moved to the Tampa area late in my pregnancy and was assigned to this clinic with no time to change providers. But AVOID THIS CLINIC if you can and find a place with better service. This clinic is taking on way more than they can handle and the customers are paying the price. You can expect to make an appointment and then wait EVERY time for at least 30-45 minutes or more. They provide minimal staff courtesy or communication. I never write reviews but please avoid this place if you can. I was in the office for over two hours and saw the nurse practitioner (not even the doc I originally came there for) for literally ten minutes. She was smacking gum while performing my pap smear, which she did in like five minutes. I'm not opposed to efficient service but I didn't feel confident with the services I received that day. I was left in the room so long while waiting on the nurse that I thought I'd been forgotten about, plus the room was cold as ice. I was told I would get a call back about a birth control question I asked while I was there, and it's been a week and still haven't received a call. My husband made a phone call that afternoon to the insurance and got the answer I'm technically still waiting on in five mi

I just had a visit to this office. The previous reviews are pretty negative. I did not have the same experience. Yes,the waiting room lacks any style,but it was clean. I only waited about 10 min. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. I waited for the Dr. about 15 min. in the exam room . He was kind and "gentle". Considerate of my privacy. Did not seem hurried and spent the time listening. If your insurance only let's you go here...like me...it was an o.k. experience. My only comment would be to remind people in the waiting room to not take their personal calls. One lady talked opening about her personal life and it was very uncomfortable. There is a sign saying please turn off cell,but there is always a person that is unaware of others.!

It is a very frustrating experience every time that I have to communicate with them. I have been dealing with the Sheldon location. I would not recommend them at all!! Just one example, I had been trying to get a medication changed and over the course of 2 weeks, I called 4 times, each time they promised a call-back and did not call me. I would wait 24 hours, then call again. This happened 4 times. I also got charged $500 for a test I did not ask for, nor was indicated. I never review businesses, but this one was so BAD, I had to write something.

I have been trying to get a wellness exam for a while now, and haven't been able to get a place i wanted to go to due to my work schedule. I scheduled with Tampa Obstetrics, and was thankful they had an opening on my day off. As soon as I pulled in the parking lot, I just wasn't feeling good about the place. I felt bad for judging the outside, so I told myself to still give it a try. As soon as I walked in, the smell was terrible. Working in a dental office, I know the importance of having a clean facility, and I just didn't get that vibe. I signed in and wasn't greeted at all, and I was going to be a new patient. I sat down, and just had a bad feeling. A feeling you shouldn't feel when you are going somewhere for your healthcare. Maybe I was too judgemental, but it was not an environment
