My daughter has been a patient for 2 years. Our experience has been ok so far, however, yesterday her current glasses broke to the point where she is unable to use them. She can't really see without glasses so she needs a fix as soon as possible. I called the office (her regular eye doctor for the last 2 years - she is also due for her annual exam) and I asked for an appointment as soon as possible since this is an emergency - she can't see. The best thing that was offered to us was to see somebody in two weeks from now which means she would have to be without glasses for at least three weeks (as it would take a little while for her new glasses to arrive). I found this unacceptable and disapointing.

She gave me an incorrect prescription. She prescribed me a prism prescription that I did not need. This was the first time in my life that I have ever had a prescription for prism. She charged an extra $25 just for that diagnosis. So was she not going to give me the prescription if I did not pay the extra fee? I have never heard of this practice and no other opticians have this policy. I have been wearing glasses for 50 years and prism has never been recommended. It was a good thing that I got a second opinion on her prescription. Check her reviews on Yelp for her previous location at Lakeforest mall. She has an average of 2 stars on Yelp.

She was very through and knowledgeable. She shared her knowledge with me, assisting me in making good decisions about what glasses to choose. I will recommend her to my friends and family. Reception staff was heat too!

Dr. Carduracci is EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT. I have been seeing her for more than 20 years. I am diabetic with very difficult and changing prescriptions due to flucuating sugar levels, that most other optometrics could not correctly prescribe for years. But Dr. Carduracci solved my problem in one visit. Since then, I been seeing her for tens of years ...I am 80 yr old, and still working. Without her patience and ever perfect prescritions, I would have gone half blind years back, with no helpful glasses, and become inactive. R.S., Gaith, MD
