Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital

My dad was flown into this hospital, and I have so much to say about this place. I’m not sure who manages this location, but the entire team is truly phenomenal. If I could give more than 5 stars, I wouldn’t hesitate. The nurses here are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. They’re compassionate, thorough, attentive, proactive, and genuinely considerate of what the patient is going through. Everything they do has purpose, and they take the time to explain every step so you understand the “why” behind it and the impact it will have. The doctors checked on my dad every single day and never made us feel rushed. They made sure all our questions were answered and that we felt supported throughout the entire process. This is hands down the best hospital I’ve ever been to. I’m so grateful

Some awesome parts, some not so awesome parts. You'll see that this hospital has high ratings in some areas and they deserve it! My Mom had hip replacement surgery here with Dr Mulvihill who was awesome. Anesthesiologist Dr Simmons was also awesome. Great experience with the outpatient surgery nurses/support staff. Problem is, my Mom also has Alzheimer's (early onset). This makes post op care a bit of a different story. She has had to stay in the hospital for monitoring. Unfortunately the communication hasn't been great and I (daughter and care coordinator) feel that blame for this has been placed on me. I'm not claiming I'm perfect, I get that we're in a special situation, and, I would have appreciated a bit more grace. This is my first time doing this, after all, and it's not easy! I w

The best medical center in the area. From the ER to the hospital to the medical offices, every doctor and staff member I have encountered has been personable, professional, and on the ball. As a patient, they always know who I am, why I’m there, and what they are there to do. Everyone is skillful and well-informed. Such coordination and organization indicates an excellent management team. Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital is a great asset to our community; I recommend it without reservation.

Vanessa, Theresa , Sharon the OT, , Caitlin, Sally, Amelia, Lupe, the nurses assistant, Russel, Rina, Jimmy, Norma, along with everyone else, treated me famously. Waited 5 hours with my daughter in the ER to be seen for her stomach pain. They tested for the flu and RSV & did some blood work. The staff came in one time for the blood work and nasal swab and never returned for more than two hours. On top of that there were no diagnostic tests performed to align with symptoms presented. We sat after check in with 2 patients ahead of us for over 2 hours and no triage. Then we were brought to a room where a lab tech took blood and then a nurse swabbed nose and throat and she said she’d be right back with nausea meds. We sat there for another 2 hrs ( meds never came) and we listened to the staff and security guards chatter about their personal lives and laughter while our daughter screamed and cried herself just to have someone close our door.
