Sutter Davis Hospital

Grateful we have such an excellent hospital in our community. I have consistently experienced 5-star service at Sutter Davis for everything from imaging and labs, to ER and surgery. Everyone working here is excellent at their job, trustworthy and responsive. The facilities are spotless and well-equipped.

Took my daughter in around 3:05 am she fainted so naturally I wanted to have her checked out and have her seen by a doctor a “professional “ . Shortly after the medical Assistant did her EKG and vitals we waited to be seen by the doctor . The doctor came in the room ( didn’t even introduce him self)with his hands on his hips and looked my daughter and said “so what happened to you?” He the looked at me with a smirk and said “well?” I then asked him if he was having a bad night or if he was irritated. He said “no it’s just 3:00am !” He then proceeded to ask my daughter what happened in a condescending manner . He was extremely rude and unprofessional. He was pushy he kept insisting that my daughter have stitches after multiple times of us telling him we didn’t want to have blood work or

I had a recent stay for several days in this hospital. The nurses are attentive, the food is good, and the doctor is tall and handsome. I was well cared for the whole time. They also arranged a ride home for me. I have gone to this hospital for more than 30 years, and it's always been top notch.

I was subjected to professional misconduct, and patient abandonment in the ER on 11/11/25 between 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM. After a six-hour wait, the nurse assigned to my IV (a taller white female with short brown/red hair and a 'Veteran' badge) ignored my documented severe IV trauma, refused to properly use numbing cream, snapped at me when I panicked, and then threw her hands up and walked away, abandoning me while I was passing out in the hallway. I will be filing a formal complaint with the State Board of Nursing. This behavior is dangerous and traumatizing. Beware.
