Sutter Amador Hospital

The moment we walked in, a gentleman approached me and asked if he could help. We had actually come in through the wrong door to the ER, and he personally walked us all the way to the ER room. When we arrived, there was only one person ahead of us. Within ten minutes, the nurse brought my husband back, and from there, it was just an incredible experience. The nurse, Andrea, was very detail-oriented and incredibly sweet. Jamie, the LVN, was also very caring and kind. The X-ray technician and the respiratory technician were all extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. Dr. Beffa was absolutely amazing. My experience was great! The doctor and nurses were very underatanding and supportive about my health situation, i did not have to wait long for anything. They were all professional, fast, and kind. Becouse of them i feel a whole lot better. Thank you sutter amador.

So far not impressed. This is the only hospital near that takes our insurance near us. I went to get blood drawn for my 1st trimester of my 2nd pregnancy and they had to draw the blood twice due to being placed in incorrect tubes then, I just now got a call saying I have to come back in again because the blood was stored wrong?! You would think something like this they would know what they’re doing and be more cautious! I’ve never had problems like this previously.

I usually have an awesome experience here but the rn and other nurses there were awful. I explained my symptoms and they straight up told me no. That I wasn’t experiencing any of my symptoms. She even gave me incorrect information telling me a migraine is only on one side of the head and wouldn’t make me sensitive to light. When any kind of doctor tells me how I feel I leave immediately.

Showed up to the ER unable to speak or breath. ER doc and whole staff were very professional and did a great job. Had to spend a few days in the ICU and had the exact same great experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful and went beyond my expectations. Great place!
