Surfside Kids Dental Almaden Valley

Pros: easy to make appointments, easy parking. Friendly and professional nurses, experienced doctors. Cons: the decor and appearance was kid-oriented but didn’t appear like a complete pediatric dentistry: fluoride was one plain bitter version, and not flavored for kids, my daughter was given adult toothpaste and toothbrush at the end. Front desk Staff were not very friendly. Wrong hours written on the window and on google maps(I submitted an edit) which resulted in 3 families waiting at the door waiting for the office to reopen after lunch.

Dr Phan is a fantastic orthodontist! Our son plays water polo which adds extra requirements to the orthodontic treatments. We have had a pretty long discussion with Dr Phan about what to do and what to expect and everything worked like a charm! We will definitely return to him with out daughter, too.

My 2 daughters under the age of 18 were kicked out for future appointments. It's so upsetting and unfortunate because both of them had been going there for years, since elementary school for their dental and orthodontist appointments. Their friends of the same age also still go there. They want us to transition to adult dental office, which i understand and was planning to do once they turn 18. So it's confusing as to why we cannot continue when they haven't reach that age. We have never been late and if we had to miss an appointment we give at least 24 hrs notice. It's so heartless the way they ended services to us after all these years.

We've been coming to Almaden Valley Surfsife kids for a while now, and I can honestly say they are amazing every single time. My daughter used to be nervous about going to the dentist, but now they actually look forward to it! Dr. Lin is so kind, patient, and great at making children feel comfortable and safe. The entire staff is friendly, professional, and clearly loves what they do.What I appreciate most is how they take the time to explain everything in a way that both kids and parents can understand. The office is always clean, welcoming, and well-organized. I truly couldn’t ask for a better dental experience for my family. Highly Recommend.

We arrived 30min earlier and the service started 15min ahead of our time. Good cleaning service for my son! Will definitely recommend.
