Sunshine Pediatric Dentistry

From the moment we walked in, everyone was so incredibly welcoming and warm. Staff were genuinely excited to meet my little one, which immediately put us both at ease. ​The facility itself is amazing and sparkling clean, but the real star was the dentist and her assistant. They were so thorough and took the extra time to explain every single thing they were doing, not just to me, but to my daughter as well. It’s clear they know exactly how to talk to kids to build that trust quickly. ​My daughter actually loved the experience so much she didn’t want to leave! I never thought I’d see the day where my toddler was sad to finish a dental exam. If you’re looking for a place that is patient, kind, and professional, I can’t recommend them enough. We’ve definitely found our "dental home."

Both our kids enjoy coming to this dentist. Prices are reasonable and work with most insurances. I appreciate the office staff as they use a certain verbiage around kids instead of the normal terminology for fillings (aka: sugar bugs). Their reward system gives kids the opportunity to get a small prize with sticker of choice and balloons. Something fun to look forward to. The staff also knows how to have fun and take care of our kids at the same time. They are patient and understand the fears during appointments. Update: Sunshine doesn’t take my insurance anymore but I have to be honest, I can’t even start to imagine taking my kids anywhere else. I can’t put a price on my kids getting great dental care, LOVING the dentist and coming home and having great dental habits because their experience is so good at Sunshine. Also, it turns out that I will get a check from my insurance in the mail I just have to wait a little. I love this practice for my kids - Dr. Bae and her team have created a truly magical environment and I’m so grateful we have it right here in Yorba Linda.
