Sunset Ridge Post Acute

My Mom fell at home and was in and out of consciousness for several hours on her tile floor. I live in Denver and had to have the police bust down the door to let us know she was found alive and taken to the hospital. Once released to rehab from the hospital I made sure I met the RNs and CNAs in rehab. Ganet was the most caring and proactive with my Mom!!!! Many other kind PT, OT and CNA’s chipped in to keep Mom positive getting her to therapy and keep her clean. I found the night shift to be more involved and invested in my Mom’s recovery. Dorian an RN was great about getting me answers to my medical questions, while still seeing to all 19 of his other patients. Any of my concerns they took seriously. I have been impressed so far. The facility is clean, the pt rooms are clean most of all everything I come in (I visit at different times due to me achedule) my sister is always positioned well, clean and dry. The staff are professional appear to be very kind. Sometimes it takes a while for them to answer the nurse call but I understand why.

Place was ok , but thanks to my amazing staff Fiorella Garcia, Gabriel Serrano , & Cynthia Mangrum they made my stay great . Amazing nurses who cared for me and was really my backbone throughout my stay. Another cna that saved my life was wassana she caught my oxygen dropping and helped me get oxygen also another great cna is Arianna quiros she is great

To the Team at Sandstone Spring Valley Rehabilitation Hospital, I would like to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the exceptional care I received during my two-and-a-half-week stay at Sandstone Spring Valley. From the moment I arrived until the day I was discharged, every staff member I encountered treated me with professionalism, compassion, and genuine warmth. My recovery would not have been the same without this remarkable team. The Activities Department truly brought joy and connection into my days. Evangeline Tolentino, along with Jason Jarlos and Edylyn Day, created a fun and welcoming environment that helped me make friends and feel part of a community. Stay away please choose another facility! The nurses are skipping out on giving patients their medication and we aren’t talking about aspirin we are talking about insulin , high blood pressure medications. Nurse are not checking in on there patients at all. Nurses are not reading full orders for patients meds. And then have the nerve to be snappy when you ask them why they didn’t give the meds. A name change does not change the actions of the people who work inside ! Please please find another facility for your loved one.
