Sunset Foot Spa

After walking for more than 20 hours between Universal Studios and exploring Hollywood, my boyfriend and I found this gem. We got the Nirvana Experience plus a foot massage, and it was absolute heaven! The atmosphere was calm, the staff were professional, and we left feeling completely refreshed — definitely a 10/10 and worth every minute. My only regret? Booking 40 minutes instead of 60 or 90… I didn’t want it to end!

This place was recommended by a couple of people and we decided to give it a try. Well, the first visit was ok, they were able to do a foot massage but the noise around specially the elder person (seemingly to be running the business) was coughing all the time and speaking loud on the phone) nothing appealing for a relaxation time. The staff speaks little to no English which makes me doubt about them being licensed by the state of California, so I kind of start getting frustrated because I had to translate whatever I had to say on my phone for them to understand me. The elder guy was trying to push me to do a full body massage instead of foot massage, for what I said “no, thanks. I would like a foot massage only” he insisted, and so I kept replying “no”. Prices went up. Only went once before and it was great went back today it was horrible. Stopped him halfway and still paid them because it’s less aggravation to just pay and leave. I guess I could have asked to get someone else and I’m sure it would have been good. So do that, if it sucks 5-10 minutes in it’s going to suck the whole time

This went from awesome to “I’m never going back”. The way I was talked to and treated by a female older lady that answers the phone was abusive. I had a massage by Joe a week ago. AMAZING! He was brilliant. I paid $110 and tipped 25% then an extra $25.00 cash. He was that great. But…. I left my silver necklace with a Jesus medallion there. . I have been coming here for years now and have returned now they can re-open. Before I dive in, I didn't see Mike the manager guy at the Sunset spot when I went and I've gone 4 times in two weeks. Mike, if you see this we miss you!! I'm hoping he does come back or maybe I came in 4 times he just wasn't there but if you've gone to Sunset Foot Spa before you know Mike the manager and how great he is. Covid-safety wise, I felt very comfortable. The check in has plexiglass and sanitizer up front. Customers MUST wear a mask during the massage and the masseur also wears a massage. Yes, you are going to be in close distance (obviously, you are getting a massage) with the employee during the massage but they space people out and are taking limited people at a time.
