Sunset Clinic

To make a long story short this place only cares about $ and not the best interest of the customer. I went to get a physical payed the copay. I have good medical insurance. Went to get bloodwork and ultrasound for a sports injury. After a week the results came in for the bloodwork. I went to get them but they wanted to charge $20 to go over the results. My insurance pays that $20 fee but this clinic will not bill them. So needless to say I’m looking for new primary care doctor.

This place is careless. After Trinay Hogan left I should’ve stopped coming here. I been calling and calling and calling. Nobody cares to call back. They’ve messed up my referral NUMEROUS times. I need another brand for my inhaler because the current one I have is causing issues with my throat. They could care less. The doctor said “nobody is forcing you to use it maam” … well clearly I am forced to use it because I have asthma. Why would I use it if I didn’t need it? Let’s be forreal. Unprofessional and rude.

All Sunset Clinics never answer the phone if you need to make a Doctor’s Appt or need a prescription refill. I definitely do not recommend going to any Sunset Clinic.

I see that they have gotten a lot of bad reviews in the past but my experience could not have been better. Everyone from the reception to the doctor was awesome. Emily was extremely nice, and made sure to take the time to talk to me about all the information they needed from me, then Dr. Nguyen listened to all of my concerns, she treated me like an actual human being which is very hard when you are a big girl going to the doctor. She did not try to tell me that all my issues were weight related and sent me to do all the bloodwork she thought were necessary. I just received all of the referrals she said she would give me and she is currently working on getting me the medication I need approved by my insurance. Mind you it is now Monday and I was there on Thursday afternoon, so I am very ha

NP Hogan and her staff are a disorganized mess. Hogan does not takes notes during her appointments so prescriptions and referrals are never sent, sometimes INCORRECT medications have been filled, or you have to place numerous phone calls to remind them to fill an prescription. Hogan has also incorrectly instructed me to take a medication that has now been questioned by my pharmacist and an actual physician which prompted me to switch providers. Additionally, the reception staff is rude and does not relay messages properly. Return calls easily take a week or more if you don’t follow up. Hands down THE WORST HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. They should have zero stars and just shut their doors. INCOMPETENT AT BEST.
