We made the switch to Sunnyside after having my fourth baby and being at Almouie pediatrics for the past decade with my other three children and we could not be more happier. It’s a small busy local pediatrician’s office and the pharmacy is right door, making it more easier and convenient to get your prescriptions after your appointment. We love the staff, the receptionist are so kind, helpful and welcoming and the MA’s are very attentive, caring and welcoming as well especially Manuel. I was a little embarrassed cause my little one was all over the place and he didn’t bat an eye, he made us feel so welcomed and made my experience less stressful! We have had literally nothing but issues with Sunnyside. The staff are dangerously incompetent, and the front office deliberately attempts to bill patients fraudulent amounts. First of all the care is sub par. As a parent, this alone is reason enough to find another practice. During our well baby visits, the NPs have never provided anything in the way of education or advice, except in response to specific questions. Every time we have had an appointment for vaccines, they have several that are out of stock - requiring us to either make a second appointment (which they do not notify you when the vaccine comes back in stock and you can make that appointment) or visit a different location. We make these appointments 1-3 months in advance and take off work to attend them, it's not a surprise

My first born has gone here since he was 3 months old, now both my son and daughter go here! They’re friendly, they care about the kids not just another “patient” and they really listen to your concerns and etc. They’re quick to see you! I love this place and will continue to use them as a pedestrian for my kids! ❤️ Side note- a couple days ago, I was at a appointment for my daughter and I got extremely flushed and dizzy. The ladies all came brought me water and some chocolate and continued to check on me throughout the time I was there while also still attending to my kids!

Love this office. Both of my kids are patients of this office and are always treated well. There has been some new changes but they are definitely an improvement. My son needed a referral and it was done the next day! Highly recommend this office to other moms out there!

Came here for 18+ years with all three of my boys when she (Jessica) was in sphon south hospital building with Dr Torres, followed her to her own practice.
