Sunil Thummala

I have seen Dr Thummala for a little over a year and I highly recommend him. He is a caring and very knowledgeable provider who takes the time to explain information. He is definitely worth a 40 minute drive for me!! Today 5 years since i wrote the above review, I still see Dr Thummala for a total of 6 years. He continues to my provider of choice and a compassionate physician. I will continue as a patient of Dr Thummala because of his knowledge, professionalism. He has the ability to listen, explain,and illustrate so that i can understand the issues. Best Physician and Most knowledgeable Kudos Dr Thummala

We had such a bad experience with this doctor where our special needs daughter went to a life and death experience due to seizure medicines prescribed without any warning. And we tried to contact the doctor when our daughter had very high fever, skin rashes all over the body, body swelling it took a day for doctor to reach us back and he already started talking about other new medicines like a salesman treating her as a guinea pig. My daughter ended in a hospital for 10 days, was diagnosed for dress syndrome and had to go through lot of steroid medicines for 6 weeks and suffered a lot. I'm sharing this here so no other person should suffer like our family. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR Google is not letting me post with 0 stars hence 1 star

I’d give this office 0 stars if it was an option. You can never talk to someone. Even the imaging office and my insurance had to contact me to tell them if I knew how cause they never answer or return calls. I finally had to email them and tell them I will go else where and make sure my PCP never sends patients there again. They finally called me back. They wanted me for a follow up but I asked to please tell the Dr. To call me with results due to paying $250 and first visit and that was just not possible 2 wks later to pay another $250. I told the lady on the phone if I absolutely need to come in for the the results I will and she told me she would all me back with an answer They never returned my call instead got a letter saying they will no longer treat me due to “ not compliant” what a

Its difficult to go see a specialist when your doctor does not understand what is going on with you, but its even worst when your already very nervous and you get to the office to find a television in the waiting room with re-occurring advertisement on medication, and possible things that can be wrong with you. Its not soothing or relaxing at all. Then, when the doctor doesn't have all the testing records he requested but doesn't realize until he is in the room, it doesn't make the patient feel very comforted, it made me feel like he didn't take the time to review my records before I came in. I saw Dr.Thummala for my bad headaches and seizures. He changed my medications and after 2 months of tweaking my meds I became headache free. My seizures are also well controlled now. Highly recommend him to anyone needing medical care. He said if I don't know why I am taking a medication then I shouldn't take one. During my first visit I felt embarrassed as I couldn't answer why I am taking some meds that I take every day. Truly a compassionate neurologist.
