Sun River Health Poughkeepsie Urgent Care

I recently visited SunRiver Health Urgent Clinic and I was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. From the moment I checked in, the process was incredibly smooth. My waiting time was not too long. My nurse, was warm and took my initial information and vitals quickly. She made me feel comfortable immediately. The physician, Dr. Pietris was equally excellent. He was professional, took the time to listen carefully to my symptoms without rushing, and performed a thorough examination.

I had a visit at Sun River Health Urgent Care today and the care I received was excellent and most definitely appreciated! The skill and expertise in handling my issue was outstanding. I was thoroughly listened too and all questions answered with great knowledge. It was apparent I was in great hands. Everyone that helped me was friendly and very kind. It really gives me peace of mind to have such a wonderful Urgent Care available in times of need. I am very thankful to all who helped me!

First visitation was surprising in the sense that from the reception and receptionist attitudes indicated that I'm welcome to the health center. The CNA and the attending RN were more fantastic behaved adding humanity to their professional experience friendly, openness, encouraging, and understanding. I was engaged in calm and friendly communication from demographic information to medical examination and prescriptions! I'm thrilled by their disposition!

I went Urgent Care when I couldn’t get in to see my primary. I was told I had RSV prescribed a med but I didn’t get it in time to start today. Now have to wait for pharmacy to open Sunday at 11 am. Local pharmacy has a problem getting antibiotics to patients. I was first told the med would be ready by 5 pm Saturday, then that changed stating it. Was delayed. Finally got notification at 6:10 pm that it was ready for Pickup but pharmacy closed at 6 pm. Not happy.

I was really sick yesterday 12/22/25 could not breathe among other things and I was seen very quickly and the receptionist and doctor was fast and accurate and very understanding as well as explaining my symptoms and tests results. I didn't wait 30 minutes to even be seen or for the doctor to come in. Thank the Lord Jesus I did go because I ended up having bronchitis and naphomia. I'm grateful for Sun River health
