Sumner Place Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation

I would recommend Sumner Place to anyone. I have always found the staff to be uplifting and helpful. I worried about putting mom into an extended care but they have made Mom happy and engaged in life. Everyone is friendly and will do just about anything to make her stay a positive one.

Sumner Place Skilled Nursing and Rehab excels in all areas! When staff are happy and thus obviously love their job, it reflects upon the treatment and happiness of the residents and families, too. That is what one finds at Sumner Place....I wouldn't want my loved one to be anywhere else! 💜

We have loved the care and comfort that our daughter has received at Sumner Place for over five years. The nursing staff has gone out of their way to make her comfortable and to interact with her despite her inability to communicate with them. The cleaning crew keeps the place looking good and smelling good all the time, which is not an easy task. Pastor Kirk has provided spiritual enrichment all these years as well. We appreciate the staff's cooperation with family visits and needs as well. You just can't do better than Sumner Place if you have to have out of home care for your loved one.

I had heard good things about Sumner place so wanted to check it out for my mom. The admissions and public relations coordinator kept in contact with me while we waited for an opening. When one came open I was able to move my mom back to Lincoln from Grand Island. This allowed me to see her more often. But more importantly mom got phenomenal care here. She developed a relationship with the staff and was content and comfortable. She needed this with her developing dementia and fast physical decline. I finally felt good about where my mom was and that is when my anxiety, concerning her, stopped. I will never forget the staff at Sumner Place.
