Summit Health - Montclair Hub

While my primary doctor and specialist are amazing. And check in is easy and friendly - the lab is terrible. They have no sense of understanding of patient care and are the worst part of this hub. I have had to call Patient relations 3 times because of their atrocious service. This lab is convenient and the only reason I continue to put up with this nonsense.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I made an appointment on their website as a new patient with a gynecologist. When I came to the appt I found out they had canceled it because it was scheduled incorrectly (not on my end, but technically no new patient appt should have gone through). I was told I was sent a message on the portal on their website, which I wouldn’t think to go back on since I already made an appointment, and that they left me a voicemail which was untrue because I had no voicemail from them. I could not even schedule a new appt because the doctor I had an appt with is not taking new patients. Awful system and wouldn’t return even if I could.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I love Summit Health overall, but I will never return to this location at 1 Seymour, Montclair. First, the parking situation is a mess, completely confusing and not clearly marked. I came here only because I had to do prenatal labs, but I usually see my doctor in West Orange (where the experience is MUCH better). When I arrived, the older woman at the front desk was having a loud personal conversation on her cell speakerphone. She didn’t even notice me standing there because her head was down. Why did the entire waiting room need to hear her conversation? On top of that, the wait was ridiculous. I sat for about an hour while the lab moved at a painfully slow pace. I asked for updates three times and got nowhere. This was an awful experience from start

wonderful professional and great experience with radiology park in the lot off Fullerton on the right a block or so before Bloomfield ave. so easy .....park in the deck and take the elevator directly to the office space.

If you require a service animal, I recommend going elsewhere. The primary care office will look for any reason to mislabel, discriminate, or remove your service animal.
