Sumit Khandhar DO - United Cardiology

I booked an appointment with Dr. Khandhar after reading the many five-star reviews and waited weeks for my consultation. I specifically chose this office because they offered virtual appointments for new patients. Just a few days before my scheduled visit, I was contacted and told I’d have to come in person instead because an EKG was required. This was never mentioned when booking and had nothing to do with the reason for my visit. I’ve already had recent EKGs that were completely normal, but was told it’s simply “policy.” After waiting so long for a virtual consultation, being told last minute that it couldn’t take place without an unnecessary in-person visit felt like poor communication and a waste of time. Why allow new patients to book virtual consultations in the first place? Waste

Fantastic doctor. Listens, does not rush you and is very knowledgeable. I feel like he really cares about his patients which means so much. And I cannot say enough about the front office. They are kind and friendly. Highly recommend.
