Sturdy Health Primary Care - Mansfield (formerly Mansfield Health Center)

Just spoke to an incredibly rude receptionist while trying to make a new patient appointment. And as a nurse myself I completely understand how overwhelming healthcare can be. But the tone of her voice and the way she was speaking to me will lead me to a different office and I told her this. I will try the Attleboro office as I had called them first and they were very helpful and pleasant but suggested I try the Mansfield office to get an earlier appointment.

Someone in this office changed my PCP, which shows only in their internal system. My insurance company has the date I changed my primary to Dr. Patel with the reason being mine had left the practice (2021). About 10 minutes ago when I called to change my doctor and set up an annual physical, I was given contradictory information that I received from Erin, yesterday. Not only did the woman not identify herself, she raised her voice, spoke over me, and put me on hold because she no longer wanted to speak to me.

So greatful I left this practice after bring gaslit for years that nothing was wrong with me. I was misdiagnosed by the rhumetology department 16 years ago and everytime I came in for prinary care with new symptoms I was told it was normal. I left last year after a dr told me it was normal that my saliva glands were swollen and painful. I went to Tufts and was given a proper diagnosis by rhumetology for my auto immune condition and then sent to a cardiologist to learn I also have a heart condition. I have had nothing but negative experiences with sturdy hospital and all of their offices.

I have been a patient of this office for many years. Even with the numerous overturns of doctors leaving. I still remained a patient. But Dr Ross is awful. A this is not the first time either. But this time, I called on a Saturday to get an antibiotic. Even with numerous UTIs in the past and zero issues getting meds over the phone, he refused to treat me and told me to go to urgent care. It would have taken him 2 seconds to look thru my chart to see I've had them and had no issues with meds. But that was too much work for him apparently. I will be finding a new office! He has horrible bedside manner as well.
