Sturdy Health Pediatrics - Pleasant Street (formerly Pleasant Street Pediatrics)

I’ve had nothing but the best care with this office since I’ve moved my daughter that was 13 at the time with them. Dr. Thompson is amazing and I’ve never had a problem with receptionist people, but then again I would bring it up to their attention at said time of issue.

I love the care and attention of the doctors and nurses at this office. However, their receptionists tend to get a little condescending and rude when things aren't straightforward or you have extra questions. And over 40 minutes to answer the phone for a sick child during business hours is absolutely ridiculous. There are enough people in this office that there should be more than one or even two nurses taking sick calls. Especially during cold, flu and strep seasons.

Dr. Thompson is great but I don’t know who they hire for their triage nurses on call but they should fire them! Two and a half hours is completely unacceptable time to return a call for a sick patient! If Dr. Berard is on call why can’t he return a call to the patient like normal offices? They fork it off to some nurse triage that can’t handle it.

We’ve never had a wait time of more that 10-15 minutes but usually our appointments are right as scheduled. My kids have been going there for 16 years and I wish they could continue to be with Dr. Berard and the rest of the team for their adult years, too. Very thankful for the care they all give.
