Student Health Services and Student Pharmacy

Seventh time they have messed up scheduling me out of 14 visits. Luckily I didn’t get charged for it this time like they usually do. At first I gave them slack because of the chaos of Covid but at this point it’s getting ridiculous. What’s the point of having this “resource” if every time you make an appointment they put it in under a completely different day and/or time than it was originally made for. I have made the appointments the day before sometimes and it still seems to be problematic. I’m sick of being charged for things I am systemically unable to use. At least let me keep my money to spend on the doctor outside of the university that I have to go to because of carelessness/complacency.

They are closed on the weekends? Am I supposed to not get sick on those days; or does the University just not care if I do? We pay the University a lot of money to have healthcare, but when I need them, they won't even let me make an appointment. On the web page, it is recommended to call Ivinson, but they won't accept student insurance without a doctor's note from Student Health! "The world needs more HEALTHY Cowboys!" - an actual quote from their website. In reality, they don't care if we are healthy or not, they just want us to waste our money.

Great services and clean. Took a while to get seen by the doctor but it’s worth it for being convenient and cheap for students

Pretty great care if you need specialty services that're offered here. Since it's included in student fees, I highly suggest people try an appointment, if only for a second opinion. They'll actually get you in, compared to off campus services, which can be backed up appointment wise.

I was ill with what turned out to be salmonella and I went in to Student Health. I ended up waiting in the examination room for about 3 hours until I was attended to. The office was not very busy either. I will avoid coming here again and will opt for off-campus facilities.
