Stroudsburg Post Acute Nursing and Rehabilitation

I was a temporary resident during February of 2026. I needed rehab after a difficult surgery. The employees here are very compassionate, knowledgeable and understanding. I would especially like to say a heartfelt thank you to Stephànie, Miriam,Katy,Ashley and Thomas(who always made me smile through a difficult situation.) The housekeeping staff were so very helpful. They were always kind and concientious, making sure everyone's needs were met asap. Special thanks to Brenda, Bridgette, Amber and Lisa. The therapists in rehab were so helpful in teaching me how to take better care of myself. Overall this was a positive and growing experience with good people. My roommate was really awesome too. We shared a bond that I will remember always. Thank you, Ida May Pogue

Both of my grandparents were residents at this facility back when it was known as Pleasant Valley Manor. I recently visited again under the new management, and I was very impressed by all the renovations. The building is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. The staff are incredibly friendly and clearly dedicated to providing excellent care. It makes me happy to see how much the facility has improved and that residents are receiving top-notch care in such a warm environment.

When it was pleasant valley Manor my mother received the best of care. The administration was extremely accessible and hospitable. Now that it is Stroudsburg Post Acute Nursing and rehab I am keeping a close watch. I am not happy that they've eliminated some of the staff and their security measures are not as strict. Since the change over the administration has been difficult to contact and they are lax in terms of returning my emails and phone calls. However, as long as I see my mother being well taken care of I am okay with the changeover.

For me the ultimate test of any nursing home is whether I would bring my loved ones there. Stroudsburg Post Acute Nursing & Rehabilitation answeres this question with a resounding YES. The quality of care is outstanding. The newly repaired facility is welcoming and home-like. Residents expressed their satisfaction and delight with the food as well as the service. I am proud to be associated with this gem of a facility.

My mom was welcomed with open arms from the staff here on the 2nd floor B. I must say a special thank you to the nursing staff, and support staff namely Anna, Jen, Donna, Julie and Whitney. I give a special thanks to Marty, who has gone above and beyond to help my mother with getting curtains for her room and moving her television so she can see it. God bless all of these Women! It’s very rare to find people with such caring hearts to deal with the elderly, and the sick. I would recommend anyone who was thinking of placing their family member in a nursing home to look at Pleasant Valley Manor.
