I had cataract surgery with Dr. Belardo on both eyes. All the staff including the doctor and anesthesiologist were very informative, helpful and kind. They addressed all of my concerns. Jordan and Beth were extremely kind, considerate and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. I would highly recommend Rural Wellness Stroud Hospital for surgical care.

I had cataract surgery (lens replacement) at this facility twice, back to back. In each instance, the nursing staff was exemplary. Cheerful, friendly, humorous, and knowledgeable with due diligence to the seriousness of their individual roles. They worked well together as a team and genuinely seemed to enjoy each other's company. The whole process in each case went without issues, in and out in two hours, no post-op issues. And free coffee in recovery. What more do you want? I can recommend.

My brother has a big opinion about this facility. His experience of almost 30 days here. “You Are Family not a patient!” If he had to be anywhere it would be here! From docs to house keeping! These people make you family!!!!!! We are so thankful to have him home but or thankful for the way he was treated while inpatient!!!🙏

The medical staff here is amazing and took great care of my wife during her 3 week stay. The best part was her therapy staff, specially OT Lori and PT Megan. These two wonderful ladies were a Godsend for my wife's recovery.

My mother was in Aven a part of stroud regional. In the swing bed unit. She needed wound care primarily but they did so much more. The doctors and nurses saved my moms life. The care that she received there was amazing. I can’t say enough about the team there. From the doctors and nurse practitioner to the nurses in general are stunning.. The kindness and care they showed my mom went above and beyond. I can’t stress this enough if you or your person needs a swing bed for wound care, this is the place to take them. Run there. But it does not end with the wound care team. It even goes into the food which is actually good. Case management is superb. They held my hand for months guiding me thru all the hurdles of getting her home. It is challenging to find wound care facilities that
