I can’t thank the talented staff at Straub Benioff medical center enough for giving my mother excellent care. Nurse Matthias K. was very professional and handled each event with poise and care. Case manager Charity worked diligently to help place her in a great care facility. Dr. Tubianosa successfully solved her medications allowing for a quick recovery. The entire experience was exceptional and they really are a highly professional group of caring individuals. Thank you!

When we had a severe medical emergency while vacationing, this hospital, was utterly amazing. Doctors, nurses, aides, housekeeping, food service, you name it, it was so great. Everyone went above and beyond so support and care for us. Thank you so much to everyone…..sincere gratitude to Dr Oyama, Kolli, Theos and nurse Taylor, and southern Taylor, Lizzy, Christine, Norabel & Aide Terry and so much more I can’t remember their names but just thank you for saving my husband’s life and taking wonderful care of us.

My family has been coming to Straub for years. I came here as a kid, my mom came here when she was a kid, and now I'm bringing my grandma to Straub. Things are more or less the same, which is great from a consistency standpoint. You know exactly what your experience will be like whenever you visit. The two things to note is that parking has gotten Packed lately due to all the construction. It used to only take me a few minutes to find a stall. Today, it took me over 15 minutes. While I do get it, it's a bit of a hassle. I hope that the new renovation alleviates this. Other than that, the facilities are clean and the staff are nice. It eases my mind to know that they will take care of my grandma whenever we drop by.

I had surgery here yesterday and my discharge papers say to call if I’m experiencing any issues. I’m having an issue and am in a lot of pain, and the people on the phone are incredibly dense and rude. They basically said that because the doctor that did my surgery isn’t physically in the building right now, there’s no one who can help me at all. Whoever writes the discharge papers needs to be more specific that you can only have an issue Monday - Friday 9-5, and whoever answers the phone needs a training on how to be kind and empathetic to people, especially people who are in a lot of pain and following the instructions given to them.

Absolutely, hands down, best ER experience of our lives! In and out in 1.5-2 hours. Everyone was so kind, professional, and efficient. We live on the mainland and usually ER visits go 8-12 hours minimum. So pleased with the emergency services here. They figured out the issue so fast and had us on our way with a remedy in record time.
