Stratford Animal Hospital

I would like to extend my gratitude to the entire staff. This has been a season full of grief however the kindness and care they showed me and my fur baby Lucky in his final months have impacted me. He was a wonderful companion to my husband and I and we were fortunate to have him apart of our family for 10 years. Thank you all for your gentleness and compassion!

I picked Stratford Animal Hospital because of the sponsored bench at Jarod’s Dog Park (and the name was similar to my last vet). Neither being a good reason, but I did at least have a good feeling when I walked in and not only found out they were accepting new patients, I was given an appointment for an annual check up and vaccinations within the week. The check up itself was pleasant, thorough and I felt the Vet and staff cared about us. While my selection process might not have been as thorough, the selection itself was a grand slam.

We recently relocated to Stratford, CT, and sought a veterinarian with Saturday hours in close proximity to our residence. Following research, we discovered Stratford Animal Hospital. Upon contacting the hospital, Angel promptly scheduled an appointment and provided exceptional assistance during our telephone conversation. Upon visiting, we were greeted by Angel, whose warm demeanor and welcoming nature immediately put us at ease. We appreciate his expertise and thorough approach. Additionally, we had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Claire, who demonstrated remarkable patience and understanding in caring for our anxious pet. We are extremely satisfied with the top-notch service provided, marking our first truly outstanding experience at a veterinarian's office. Thank you

I highly recommend Stratford Animal Hospital! The staff is friendly and warm. The office was spotless and updated. It was the first time I felt relaxed and not secure when taking taking my dog to the doctor. I am usually just as nervous as my dog but this was a completely different experience. I've been to over a dozen vets in the 20 plus years living in CT. Dr Shatz and his team are second to none, I wouldn't think of bring my pup anywhere else. The new Dr Claire had big shoes to fill, but how quickly she diagnosed my girlfriend's sick Pomeranian and the follow up and attention to our questions and concerns makes happy and comfortable to keep bringing my guy there! Keep up the good work everyone!!!
