Stop & Shop Pharmacy

Thank you to the male pharmacist who helped me and also one of the girls I wish I knew their names but the male pharmacist especially was so calm and helpful with helping me try to get my prescription thank you again for being patient and so kind !!

I’ve used this pharmacy for 10+ years. There is one female pharmacist in particular who always gives me issues. The male pharmacist is fine. I will call in my prescriptions ahead of time (2+ days), yet more than 5 times that the medicine I’m trying to pick up isnt there. MY life sustaining medicine isnt available when it’s needed, regardless of me doing what’s needed on my end. There’s been many times where I arrive 10+ minutes before close, and I’ve been rejected from the female pharmacist to pick up my medicine. If there’s ever any issues, all I ask for is an apology or a way to come with a solution. When your medicines being withheld from you, it’s a very frustrating and uncomfortable experience. Pharmacist hung up on me three times in a row then answered and put me on hold. Will be sending my patients scripts elsewhere.

They have been very cooperative with mailing our prescriptions during the COVID mess. Have been an excellent place for flu shots and they helped me search for a lower priced medication to replace a pricey one. Their text system for alerting you to an upcoming refill was great. I say "was" because the only problem I have had is that once, I accidentally tapped "Stop" in reply to a text from them, and I was removed from the list. Five different people have said they added me back, but I am, sadly, not back. This has been going on for about a year.

When my doctor made prescription changes it took them months to finally Getting It Right without me explaining it. Every month they would screw it up and I had to re-explain that they were giving me my old dosage rather than my new dosage. Ultimately I ended up leaving for my own safety I could not run the risk of them continually messing it up. The worst part is I was an employee there not some new client had been with them for years.
