Stop & Shop Pharmacy

the pharmacy used to be good. The staff were nice and knowledgeable. Then something really bad happened, all of the staff were completely replaced and no one would talk about it. I have heard rumors, which I won't repeat here, but they replaced all the good people as well as whoever did the bad thing. They have also started enforcing strict draconian policies that make things a lot worse for the customers. In particular, if your prescription is due on the 10th, and you don't have time after work to wait for it to be filled, you cannot give it to them on the ninth and pick up the filled prescription the next day. They will not hold the paper receipts. If you are picking up for you and your wife, they will require her ID as well as yours when you go to pick up the prescriptions, even if th

The only good thing is the Bakery Department. They make excellent cakes! The Pharmacy is horrible. I had prescriptions sent to the pharmacy, I was told one medication would be ordered and would be available for pickup the next day. I called the next day their system is down and they can’t do anything. Called the following day the same issue… thank goodness the medication was for an upcoming trip and I always plan ahead! Unacceptable!

There were no carts or baskets at the entrance. The check out lines are ridiculous. The lines are all the way to the back of the store for 2 , I repeat 2 cashiers open and the line for the self checkout is back to the bakery department. This is unacceptable. Remember these people waiting in these lines have chosen to give you their money. I shopped else wear while you rearranged the store and now it’s such a major disappointment to come back. I’ve spoken to management and the reply is always “ we can’t force people to come to work” . Here’s a thought , fire them and hire people who are team players who want to work.

This supermarket has a good staff, but especially a young man named Munuel Reyes who is a cashier is friendly, attentive and very disciplined as a cashier. 5 star to you Munuel Reyes.

Extremely rude pharmacist that picked up the phone today around 1:50pm who clearly did not want to help the customer. As soon as he picked up he seemed annoyed that he had to do it and he kept the same tone throughout the whole call (which really only lasted 2 minutes) refusing to answer questions but rather just being rude and annoyed. I called to get a prescription ready as I always do, but for some reason, this pharmacist did not think that was a good reason to call as his first response picking up the phone was “well maybe you should just do it on the app”. As much as I appreciate that technology offers this option, calling in is still a valid way of doing so, and this sort of service is simply rude and unacceptable.
