If I could give more stars to the three women working in the 8th floor south Pulmonary lab! I was so impressed by the compassionate treatment they gave us. The receptionist i believe, at the desk answering calls and the two ladies that gave the test. All three are angels and that hospital is lucky to have them. A very grateful patient.

I want to apologize to Stonybrook for the threats and the trauma that I had caused because I was angry, scared, and in pain. I deeply regret the things that I said due to the frustration of people not believing me. I should have taken the appropriate channels to communicate to people about any concerns that I had instead of lashing out. I'm so sorry and I do live in deep regret all the time and I genuinely am heartbroken for things that I said to my to you all. I was hurting and in pain and I shouldn't have taken that out on you guys. I'm still recovering and battling through mental health issues but Im slowly getting better and fighting through my battles. It was deeply wrong and disturbing. I am learning to break away from old habits and trying to communicate better when it comes to my f

I don’t know why people choose to come to this hospital as their first choice. They show no compassion whatsoever ever to patients and also family members who are worried about their loved ones. The nurses I have come across with show no sympathy and I get it, you are just trying to do your job and move along but at least show that you care, that you understand how we are feeling, and not make us feel little.

I wish i could give this a 5 but the doctor knowledge was 50/50. Except dr sultana and my podiatry dr mulwani and Sweeney the pt supervisor. And the training lead James. who was great. The food was not great. How you burn a hcheeseburger to the point it smells a whole room and send that up?! I highly suggest getting on the cbord patient app to order your food as i could make this kitchen and dining experience a whole lot better if i was in charge. The social worker dept was horrible. I recently gave birth at SBUH and had a great experience. Although it was not an easy delivery, every medical staff I’ve encountered made it less stressful. They were extremely trustworthy and compassionate. I felt in control of every decision made. Suites are all private and they provided excellent postpartum care. I highly recommend.
