Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine

I first contacted the school because it was recommended to me. My first visit was in may 2024 . Upon examination I was told that I needed to have two teeth pulled and some filling done. My second visit I informed my dentist that one of my teeth is wiggling. She examined it and told me the post is cracked. Because it’s very visible noticeable in the front I told her that something had to be done fast quickly . She suggested a flipper. She then took some impressions after pulling the rest of the tooth . When the flipper came it didn’t fit at all . Now she ordered a remake which fitted better but I still couldn’t eat or talk properly. I did express my concerns because it took so long that she already spoke about the permanent denture . I paid $600 for that thing and I couldn’t where it and n

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? The best decision I made was to go to The Stonybrook dental school for the treatment of my teeth gums and mouth. The entire operation from registration, payments, x-rays and face to face with staff was highly professional and forthright. I would recommend them to all my family and friends.

Dr. Chen is amazing! She made me feel comfortable at every appointment and truly did a phenomenal job. I'm very glad I got my work done here and would recommend it to anyone. 10 out of 10!

It really depends on who you get as your student dentist. The first one I had was great, caring and lovely. The one I got this time around made a few comments that were degrading towards me and it took about everything in me not to bring it up to the head dentist. There is no excuse for such behaviour, and I do get the feeling that some of them look down on those who attend the clinic (for whatever ignorant reasons). Being young is no excuse for being a crappy person.

I have had three implants done so far, and the service has been exceptionally professional and helpful throughout the process. The price is affordable compared to what other private practices currently offer. I highly recommend the Dental team.
