Stony Brook Oral and Facial Surgery

My experience with Stony Brook Oral and Facial Surgery was perfection. I was lucky enough to have spoken with Melissa who was patient and supportive as I tend to ramble. She answered all my questions without any signs of being annoyed as I had called the office 3 times that day because I was so anxiety ridden. I tortured her with my questions but you would never know. She scheduled me with Dr. Montanaro and assured me that I would be extremely happy with him and she was correct. He was lovely. He explained what was going on and my options thoroughly. He was so gentle and calming that I did not even feel the injections of the local anesthetic. He told me what to expect every step of the way and made sure that I was comfortable while extracting my tooth. He didn’t try to over sell me or push

Dr. Proothi is the best Oral Surgeon I have ever been too. He is highly skilled, kind and personable! I moved 2 hours away from his office but will always make the trip to have any procedure I need done! His staff is top notch. Professional, kind and especially accommodating. Melissa went above and beyond to schedule mine and my husband’s appts. Whenever there was a cancellation she reached out to me immediately. I have never experienced that at any other Drs. Office before. All the Jennifer’s were so nice too! This is the place you want to go to for any procedure!!! Thank you All!

Dr. Proothi was able to handle my nonverbal autistic daughter, extracting all four of her wisdom teeth with the assistance of General anesthesia in his office. The entire staff is kind, professional, answered all of our questions and made us feel at ease. Thank you to everyone who made the experience as pleasant as possible. My daughter is back at program after a few days off and seems to be on the road to recovery
