I have received excellent care from the doctors here for the past 4 years that I've been a patient. They have overseen two of my pregnancies. Dr. Wellischar delivered my most recent baby, and Dr. Van Sise delivered a baby for me a few years ago. Both were amazing. I switched to this practice after a bad experience elsewhere, and the doctors here listened to me and totally helped put me at ease, even taking the time to see last minute me with concerns after a miscarriage. They helped me make birth plans that would work for me, taking my medical history into account and also just making me feel cared for as a person and as a mom, just like them. I have been going here for years and had my 2 babies with them. Both pregnancies were high risk and they took that very seriously. I was seen weekly, and never had an issue getting an appt. I make my annuals months in advance because , yes they are busy. Pregnancy appts take precedent over annuals. That's how it should be. They are in far more need of the time so just book in advance. The doctors are so sweet and listen to your needs. Definitely recommend.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences with every visit. Front desk staff are very friendly. Wait time is minimal. Medical professionals are all knowledgeable, compassionate, and attentive. Huge thank you to Dr. DeMarco for providing me excellent care during my high risk pregnancy AND Dr. Welischar for safely delivering my baby!

I am having my 3rd baby. This will be the second time. Delivering with stonybrook. I see all the Dr's and midwife In the practice and love everyone at the Bohemia location. They are all friendly and on top of everything.

Noone listens at this office- have been asking for an elective induction for 3 weeks (personal reasons) and noone cared to offer a date. Finally last weeks visit (38.5 weeks) they said someone would reach out to me. Noone reaches out unless you call. Somehow they can’t schedule me because the hospital is completely full. From my prior pregnancy and friends’ they can always schedule yoy and if needed you get bumped.
