Stony Brook Children's Hospitals

For over a year every appointment I make gets cancelled and rescheduled without so much as a phone call for dates and times that do not work (because there was no contact from the office). Wait times are ridiculous. Dr Nabi is fantastic but it’s just not worth dealing with the office any longer.

We relocated from another state in August 2017. Because the NY school requires an additional immunization. I requested the specific immunization shot for my 12-year-old child with this office. I stated that we only needed the immunization. I faxed medical record to this office which showed clearly a preventive checkup was just done recently in another state. However, it charged us for a preventive checkup in addition to the immunization. The office did not even mention to us that they were conducting a repetitive checkup. I disputed the charge to the office for several times. It never accepted my dispute and eventually sent it to a collector. By the way, neither the office staff nor the doctor introduce themselves. They behave like strange and robbers. Terrible!!!

Today I had a medical appointment with my two children, my son is 6 years old and autistic and my daughter is 12 when my son arrives, he cannot sit for a long time and I think that bothered them and they canceled the appointment, a lady approached and he told me that they had to cancel my appointment that he is sorry but they cannot attend me, they are not very professional people, it is the third time that they do that to me, I felt very bad because they who are professionals cannot understand that the child has a CONDITION and not It is so because he wants to. they are stupid people

Place was good years ago. Horrible now. A well checkup will take you 2 hours sitting waiting in the room for 95% of the time. You hardly get any attention from them but need to wait hours. Nothing special I keep trying to like it because of affiliated with hospital but the service is terrible. Not good for kids.

before, for me, this hospital was the # 1 hospital for me, but now it's a hospital. I came with my daughter to emergency because she came with a lot of headache and a lot of stomach pain. I've been waiting for 5 hours and I have not been treated for 2 hours. so that they can pass me for a room for my girl and now we are in the hall for 3 hours there are no people to see me or a nurse and a doctor does not appear this is the last time I come here I come from far away having another hospital closer to my but now this hospital disappointed me
