StoneBridge Senior Living - Villa Marie

I came here after a spinal surgery.. My experience with nursing homes was bad and I was terrified, but, This place and the staff have been wonderful. All the nurses and nursing aids in the people that work in the kitchen have been so super friendly to me. I'm in the Rehab section so I'd like to point out one nurse that I think so I went above and beyond his name Eric . Just his compassionate attitude made my stay so much more comfortable.

Awful!! My mom was at another facility that closed and was doing good there. After moving here she immediately did not like it. March 13th they called and told me she wasn’t doing good but did not make it sound like it was an emergency because you would think they would have said she needed to go to the hospital if that was the case but they didn’t. My daughter went to see what was going on and immediately knew she needed to go to the hospital, when she got to the er she had a very bad black eye from a fall, her blood pressure was 80/39, she had a urinary tract infection, 2 level 2 and one level 3 bed sores, was extremely dehydrated and malnourished because she hasn’t been eating because the urinary tract infection had caused her to be nauseous and was in septic shock. My mom put my grandma in this nursing home on Thursday. It was recommended she wait a week to 2 weeks before going to check on her. My Grandma has Alzheimer’s. We went in to check on her this morning regardless of what they told her and it was awful. She was slumped over in a chair by herself so drugged she couldn’t move or wake up. She was sitting in soiled adult underpants. It was pitiful. She took photo and video I’m sending it in to the dept of health and senior services. It wasn’t just my grandma either there was a ton of them slumped over and drugged. They didn’t want to deal with them so they just put them out like zoo animals. Check on your loved ones often, early, and unexpected.

I was able to walk in with out being noticed, and felt completely invisible. As an obnoxious alarm on the front door continued to sound off no one seemed to notice to shut it off. I stood there trying to get the attention of the staff for assistance. After a good 10 min I left. I WILL NOT BE BRINGING MY FAMILY MEMBER HERE! The home was disorganized and had a foul smell. The staff were very rude and didn't have any answers for me. Not a good place. It was run down on the outside and although it had an alarm it wouldn't do any good. Anyone can walk in and out and go completely unnoticed

Communication is not good! ! Feel like there care is not adequate care always ! No one answers the phone quite a bit! I have talked about important issues & they are not being addressed!
