Stockhoff Memorial Nursing Home

I would NEVER again put a loved one in this place. They are very short handed. It turned out to be horrible! I have heard similar expressions from most other family members including extended family that know the situation. This nursing home told us lies. They should be shut down. I'm forced to leave at least 1 star. They used to be a lot better. They went down hill fast and there is no excuse for what happened. We lost Denise because of their lack of care for her. There was gross lack of much needed care and a lot of neglect from a seemingly uncaring staff.

My mother was a resident at Stockoff Memorial nursing home due to her suffering with dementia and declining mobility. I was continually impressed with the level of compassionate care provided by the staff. Since I was able to visit the facility on a daily, unannounced basis, I was able to observe day-to-day the quality of care provided to my mom and other residents. From my point of view, anyone would be hard pressed to find a safer, more loving environment for a family member, should the need arise. Some people that personally come to mind are Katy, Penny, Kirsten, Sara, Melissa and Jaclyn. I know there were many more involved in mom’s care, and you all have my gratitude.

This place is a joke! I wouldn’t recommend any family members to live here because they are only going to get abused and talked down to! Please take into consideration about going to a different nursing home!

Resident is in much worse condition than when he went in 6 months ago. The one star is for some wonderful nurses, at least 2 or 3 of which I know.

They are under staffed and residents don't receive the care they should even when it is prescribed by a Dr. Many other occurrences of serious concern. At present I definitely would not recommend this place.
