Stillwater Medical Center

The staff and physicians at Stillwater Medical Center are caring and top notch professionals. Diagnostic testing referrals were quickly honored. All results were explained and Dr. Zwanch gave me options for treatment. There was also no wait for follow-up referrals. My situation was staffed by full team of professionals. I appreciate the care I received.

I went to the emergency room in severe pain turned out it was my appendix. So I needed surgery kinda soon! The doctor and nurses were great in the ER. The nurses on the foor i was on were very good and very very helpful! I did not know Dr. Pence but she was my surgeon and I was a little nervous but after we met I was comfortable with her. She was really nice joked with me but was professional! The one thing that stood out to me was right before surgery she came in the room and she touched my arm for a few seconds i felt it showed she cared . It Might sound silly but it told me alot! Surgery went well and faster then expected. I would recommend her and I would request her!!

The new Women’s Health wing, Labor and Delivery to be exact was amazing. I gave birth to my son here on October 1st with the amazing care of Christian and Lana, and Dr. Taguchi. The room was so spacious, so clean, and very comfortable for my entire family who visited. Anything that I needed during my visit was easily and quickly brought by the nurses and they made sure my son and I were taken care of so well. I was so exhausted that I forgot my night shift nurses name and I wish I could thank her while she took my son for a few hours, bathed him, comforted him, and allowed me to rest for a short time. Sirene was wonderful when she had to do my IV via ultrasound and made my experience with that very comforted. I am so glad we have a facility like this in Stillwater.

Dr. Pence was a delight to meet. More importantly, she sat down eye to eye with me and explained my procedure. Having recently being diagnosed with cancer, I didn't know what to expect. Dr. Pence is very personable, and it carries over to her staff and various other colleagues. If I have to have cancer, I'm grateful for Dr. Pence being on my team.

I went to the ER on Thursday after falling. I was in extreme pain. They were so good to me. Got me right in. Immediately there were several nurses in my room getting the iv started, etc. The dr came in within about 10 minutes. He explained everything they were doing for me. Very kind and professional. All the nurses who were taking care of me were the best. Very kind and reassuring. I couldn’t have had a better experience!! 10 out of 10!!!
