The Smithfield staff is inconsistent. They don't answer the phone. You ask to have the eye doctor call you because of a complaint, they don't tell him. You ask to have your prescription faxed and the task is never executed. Just received a call from the vision center, after almost a week past, and found the prescriptions still have not been faxed for your kids. Waited almost an hour and a half for the scripts to be faxed and when I finally got someone on the phone they said I'll do it now. Guess I'll have to make an in person visit. Eye doctor is great, but the assistants are not. This is not the first time, but it will be the last.

I have been going to Optometrist Stewart for over 5 years now. He is very knowledgeable and his office is ran efficiently. If I have a question about something he is able to provide an example of what happens with the eyes and gives a description of what's happening. Also, his staff seems to has a very pleasant work environment.

Dr. Stewart and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Fees were explained up front. The entire process moved along in a timely manner. The entrance is marked with a smaller sign between the larger "Walmart" sign on the left and "Home and Pharmacy" sign on the right (at the end of the parking lot's "in" Lane if you're entering from 96/N Brightleaf Blvd).

I have been going here (Brightleaf location) for several years and always receive the best care! Staff is kind, knowledgeable and respectful. Dr. Stewart's bedside manner is excellent! He doesn't treat you like a number and push you out the door. My kids go as well.

Dr Stewart has been my eye doctors for over 10 years! I finally got my husband to change from his Dr to Dr Stewart! We both think he's the best! Very thorough and professional!
