Best experience ever at Desert Orthopedics! Wait time was on spot and so welcoming. Dr. Nishiyama was so knowledgeable and friendly. His approach to helping me understand why my knees are causing so much pain was remarkable. He was there for me and explained what my options were and what each option would provide for me. I really liked the fact that he wasn’t just pushing for surgery. I am open to trying one of the other options at this time while I nourish by bones back to betterment! Mahalo Dr. Nishiyama and also to his friendly staff.

This was my first visit to Desert Orthopedics and I have to say Dr Nishiyama was awesome! He took the time to explain the condition of my hip in great detail while viewing my mri image. He has excellent bed side manner, very easy to talk to, felt very relaxed about asking questions. His assistant was also very nice as well as the front desk staff. I simply cannot recommend this place enough, just a very pleasant experience.

I was seen within ten minutes of my appointment time. Initially, I was seen by Dr. Nishiyama's assistant, Angela. Angela reviewed my x-ray with me while explaining what she was seeing. Before ending the consultation Angela asked if I would still like to meet with Dr. Nishiyama. Since I was going to have surgery, I did want to meet the doctor. Dr. Nishiyama came into the room and reviewed the same information that Angela had given me. Prompt, friendly and courteous. So far so good.

Dr. Nishiyama and his assistants were all wonderful. Each one was very caring and thorough. It is always nice to see the doctor you made an appointment with himself for any visit. I have gotten so used to being pushed off to a PA that to meet someone who could potentially be doing surgery on me or minimally helping me with knee problems over the next years in person is awesome. I am happy to say this rarely happens with Desert Orthopedic Center. Both my shoulder surgeon (the amazing Dr. Lawrence Huff) and my foot surgeon (Also amazing Dr. King) always take care of me themselves. It's really nice and an office I can highly recommend. I will now add Doctor Nishiyama to my list of trusted orthopedic doctors. He helped me with my knee pain, suggested an injection to get through a busy travel p

I went to Dr Nishiyama for a second opinion and came away feeling like I had seen a real doctor! He was very knowledgeable and took time to explain, show, and answer all my questions! I was told he was the best and I agree! (Added bonus--he's kind and handsome!)
