Steere House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center

Steere House was the rehabilitation center my brother was hoping for. As I observed his recovery, it became clear that one particular person made all the difference in the success of his stay – Christina, Director of Social Services. She offered her services in a professional and caring nature that boosted patient inclusion, confidence, and dignity. She consistently communicated with family throughout and showed an amazing attention to detail and follow through on action plans. Kudos to Steere House for hiring such exemplary healthcare providers as Christina.

I was admitted to the rehab center following surgery on a fractured ankle. The staff was welcoming,warm,and professional.The Team Work demonstrated was exceptional.Each department reflected the quality of care any person would hope to experience.Thank you to your great nursing staff,your wonderful OT AND PT departments.Also thanks to the housekeeping and dietary depts.depth. My mother was at Steere house twice. Both times from the hospital for rehab. Unfortunately, the second time, we recognized she was unable to go home and care for herself. It is always difficult leaving your loved ones in the care of others. It was the best decision. She built relationships with the staff and they were Like family to here. She would say to Wendy, I need a hug. She passed away with her family by her side and the staff asked if they could come in and say good bye. They cried and shared in our loss of a loved one. Thank you to all the staff at Steere House for their compassion and care they should for my mother.

I've been a resident of Steere House for the past four years, and I love it here. I toured Steere House about three years before I needed to enter a nursing home at 62 due to multiple sclerosis. Because of covid restrictions at that time, I was at two other nursing homes before I came to Steere House. The main problem I found with other nursing homes is the unappealing meals. I have been very happy with the food at Steere House. If you're going to need a nursing home at some time in the future, take a tour of Steere House. I'm glad I didn't have to make a quick decision before visiting.

My mom was at the Steere house and she was treated so wonderful there . Everyone was so kind and loving ! I was very impressed with the nurses and all of the staff right down to the janitor Albert !
